Sep 22, 2023 New paper published! The title is “An analysis of the National Water Model for a mid-Atlantic suburban watershed”, published in Physical Geography. The paper’s main premise is to better understand how a new, nation-wide streamflow measuring tool performs for a densely populated, mixed-use watershed in the mid-Atlantic under varying environmental/atmospheric conditions. Sep 01, 2023 Abby is returning to the lab for a second year! Her research has been funded by the AURCA Program at OSU. She will be continuing work on climate and water availability in Oklahoma that she started last year, you can learn more about her here. Very happy to have you back, Abby!
Aug 25, 2023 Welcome, Great and Farzana! Two graduate students have joined the lab. Great is pursuing a MS in Environmental Science, and Farzana is pursuing a MS in Geography. More information about them will be found here. Excited to have them join the team!
Aug 05, 2023 Great news!! A proposal submitted to NSF with collaborators at OSU, UNL, and LSU has been selected for funding. The title of the project is “Collaborative Research: RII Track-2 FEC: Rural Confluence: Communities and Academic Partners Uniting to Drive Discovery and Build Capacity for Climate Resilience”, and the lab will be working on developing a deeper understanding of what rural resiliance looks like under climate change via targeted climatic analysis for rural communities across the three states.
